So tomorrow, I leave for 18 months for Ecuador and Chile to teach English in a school called St. George. . .here is a link with more info:

I'm currently in Chicago at my friend Anissa's house, doing some laundry and watching the West Wing. It's strange to define exactly how I feel. . .I'm excited, yet a little sad at the same time. I've been through many different transitions in my life, but for whatever reason this one seems to be more intense. Maybe it's the fact that I'm physically moving the country, or leaving the family, or leaving amazing friends and relationships. . .but God works in mysterious ways, and I feel like where I'm heading and what I'm doing is what God wants me to do.
This is going to be my online diary of sorts along the way. . .I'll be updating this as soon as I possibly can. PLEASE make sure you make me accountable and pester me about details. . .I didn't keep people in the loop while I was in Ecuador when I studied abroad, which is the exact opposite of what I want to do this time around. I hope you check in with me time to time, let me know about what you think of what I'm doing, share with me your thoughts. . .here's to making my adventure OUR adventure.
